NICKY BOMBA RE-LAUNCHES TRANSMITTER RECORDS AT THE 2014
AUSTRALASIAN WORLD WIDE MUSIC EXPO (AWME)
Transmitter Records was the brainchild of Nicky Bomba and Joe Camilleri.
Brought to life to provide a home in Australia for Reggae, Ska, Calypso and World music.
Originally intended for their own projects the label is about to launch into a new era celebrating a growing family of like minded musicians.
“The last couple of years has seen a great enthusiasm for our style of music and it seemed like a natural progression to step everything up ” NICKY BOMBA.
Transmitter will also be re-releasing gems from the back catalogue including a Bomba box set, Limestone(Joe and Nicky), Banana Oil and Drums & Lions (Ethiopian).
The official launch will be the closing party at the AWME festival in Melbourne showcasing new records by Bustamento, Ska Vendors and Mighty Duke and the Lords.
